Chase Basketball provide one and two day basketball Holiday Camps, designed to improve every player’s on-court skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game.

With 25 years of junior basketball experience, Chase Holiday Camps showcase leading skills coaches, outstanding progressive programs and a knowledge of the game that is second to none.

All Chase Basketball Holiday Camps are conducted in an environment that prioritises player enjoyment along with skill development. Our Holiday Camps cater to junior players of all ages and skill levels.

Frequently asked questions

What does my child wear to their Camp?

All campers are to wear non-marking basketball runners, shorts, and/or tracksuit pants. Each camper will receive a Chase Basketball Camp t-shirt that must be worn at all times to assist with our player identification.

Does my child need to bring lunch?

Yes. All children are to bring their own lunch, snacks and drink bottles. Please advise our administrators if your child has a food or other allergy. Children are encouraged to bring healthy, low fat/sugar options for lunch/snacks. Water is the preferred drink at Camps.

Canteen facilities are unavailable at all Chase Basketball venues.

Where do we go on the day of our Camp?

A registration table will be located in the foyer of the basketball facility at which your child is attending. Please sign-in at the registration table prior to accessing the courts. A Chase Basketball t-shirt will be provided for your child and must be worn for the duration of the Camp.

What time is lunch?

The second break (Lunch) is at approximately 11:30am until 11:45am

What time do I collect my child?

Campers MUST be collected by a parent/guardian at 1:00 p.m. A fee may be applied should children need to be supervised due to late collection.

Are parents allowed to stay and watch?

Absolutely!

What kind of supervision is provided at the camps?

In most cases, Camps are conducted with a 1:10 – 12 staff to campers ratio. All children are instructed at the commencement of the Camp, and reminded throughout the duration of Camp that:

They are not permitted to leave the basketball court area unless notifying a member of our staff.

All children are to go to the toilet in pairs; younger children where possible will be escorted to the toilet.

Are the campers grouped?

Campers are grouped according to age, ability and any pre-notified friendship requests. Once a camper has been skill assessed by our experienced coaching staff, they may be placed in a more appropriate standard group if advised.

What if my child has a medical condition?

All medical conditions need to be recorded on the camp registration form (Additional Information section) and must be documented with Camp staff. Parents who will be leaving their child in the supervision of the Camp staff are required to provide full medical plans and a listing of necessary medications. Medications should be fully labelled with complete instructions on dose and any other specific requirements.

Please ensure that listed emergency contact details are up to date and contactable during Camp duration.

What if my child enters as a member of a team?

Participants who intend to register as a member of a team (four or more players) need to make mention of their team name on on the Camp registration form (Additional Information section) so that the team members can be grouped together.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes! Two or more members of the same household will attract a $10 discount on the second and subsequent applications for a two day Camp, and a $5 discount on a one day Camp. Each participant needs to be registered online and the discount will be applied via a coupon code to be applied at checkout.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are available in accordance to the rules below:

In cases of injury or illness (accompanied by a doctor’s certificate) – 100%
– In cases of bereavement – 100%
– Notification schedule:

  • Notification within 24 hours – NO REFUND
  • Notification within 7 days – 50%
  • Notification 14+ days of camp

Full refund Refunds are not considered for:

  • “I’m tired”
  • “I’m sore from training”
  • “I don’t like it”
  • “I want to go the pool”
  • “I’m no good”

Community Camps At msac

Designed for beginner and intermediate players to build a strong foundation of skills while fostering a love for the game. Through fun competition and a supportive environment, young athletes develop confidence and a deeper understanding of basketball.

Led by professional coaches at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Chase Camps run 9 AM – 1 PM during school holidays, packed with skills, drills, and gameplay in a safe and inclusive space.
